Sims Plastics, a division of Sims Metal Management, is a major recycler of post-consumer and post-industrial plastic scrap, specialising in a varierty of different grades & colours of polypropylene (PP), high density polyethylene (HDPE) and low density polyethylene (LDPE). Our recycling operations are based in Melbourne with sales representation for Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
Plastics are granulated, washed, blended and then extruded into specification beads/pellets. The pellets are then sold as recycled material to be used in the production of injection moulded, blow moulded, sheet and pipe extruded products.
